Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) over Super Bowl LIV between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Rep. Khanna has offered a basket of Ghirardelli chocolates, Rep. Cleaver has wagered some world-famous Kansas City barbecue and Russell Stover chocolates, and the Speaker has wagered a selection of California delicacies, including See's Candies, Ghirardelli Chocolate, walnuts and pistachios.

Hoyer (D-MD) announced Wednesday afternoon that the week the House returns from the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. District Work Period, it will consider bills introduced by Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Barbara Lee (D-CA) to repeal the 2002 Congressional authorization for the use of military force (AUMF) against Iraq and prevent taxpayer funding from being used to take military action against Iran without congressional authorization, respectively.

Khanna introduced the Veteran Outreach Understanding To Reach Every American Courageous Hero Act, the Vet OUTREACH Act, a bill that builds off the VALOR Act, which was signed into law by President Trump in 2017 and made it easier for employers to offer apprenticeships to veterans, without having to jump through additional and unnecessary red tape.
