She also signed the first War Powers resolution to stop the Saudi-led war in Yemen and stood against the war in Iraq.

Washington, DC – Today, Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) unveiled legislation to temporarily stop the export of gasoline produced in the United States to combat high gas prices and help Americans struggling. The bill would prohibit the export of refined gasoline during periods when gas prices are high, characterized as any day on which the average price for gasoline in the United States has been equal to or higher than $3.12 per gallon for each of the preceding 7 days.

Washington, DCAhead of the Medicare Open Enrollment period, U.S. Representatives Ro Khanna (CA-17) and Mark Pocan (WI-02) are introducing the "Save Medicare Act" to rename so-called "Medicare Advantage" plans, prohibit private insurers from using "Medicare" in plan titles or advertisements, and impose significant fines for any insurer that engages in this deceptive practice.

Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and U.S. Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) announced the introduction of bicameral legislation to stop U.S. arms sales to Saudi Arabia. The announced legislation comes after Saudi Arabia sided with Russia to cut oil production at last week's OPEC+ meeting, supporting Russia in its brutal war against Ukraine and undermining global oil supply.

Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) reintroduced the No PAC Act. The bill would amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to prohibit members of Congress and those running for a U.S. House or Senate seat from accepting contributions from a political action committee, other than that of the given candidate. It would also prohibit the establishment of leadership PACs.

Washington, DC – Today, Representative Ro Khanna (CA-17), Deputy Whip of the Progressive Caucus, sent a letter signed by 30 members of Congress to Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz requesting a fair bargaining process for all Starbucks employees. The lawmakers' request comes after reports filed by the National Labor Relations Board stating that Starbucks withheld pay and an increase in benefits from workers actively unionizing across 242 stores in the US.
