Washington, DC – Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) is among the 64 members of the House of Representatives, who sent a letter to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson renouncing President Trump's irresponsible approach with North Korea. The letter is a follow-up to one sent to President Trump in May.

"Now is the not the time to encourage North Korea to make additional threats," said Rep. Khanna. "More than 60 members of the House recognize that we need assured leadership in regards to the situation with North Korea and urge the State Department to choose diplomacy over a show of force."

Washington, DC -- Today, Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) met with representatives from veteran's groups and other lawmakers to discuss how to implement a new government pilot program to test how GI Bill can help veterans learn jobs skills to join the tech economy.

Earlier this week, the House unanimously passed the Vet-Tec Act, which was part of a legislative package called the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2017. Rep. Khanna was the lead Democratic sponsor of the Vet-Tec ACT, which was introduced by Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

"Our military has always led the way in helping America treat all its citizens with respect and equality.
