RELEASE: RO KHANNA STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH WORKERS STRIKING AT SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Santa Clara, CA – Today, Representative Ro Khanna (CA-17), Deputy Whip of the Progressive Caucus, released the following statement on the food service workers striking at the San Francisco International Airport:

"I stand in solidarity with the San Francisco International Airport workers who are on strike after three years without a pay raise. The baristas, restaurant workers, and cashiers who serve travelers every day are critical to the operation of the airport and our community in the Bay Area. It's unacceptable that many are being forced to work second jobs due to insufficient pay. In Congress, we must do more to support food service industry workers across the country, including by passing the PRO Act and increasing the federal minimum wage."
