RELEASE: KHANNA RECOGNIZED BY PRESIDENT BIDEN AND INTEL CEO PAT GELSINGER AT INTEL GROUNDBREAKING
Washington, DC – Today, Friday, September 9, 2022, Rep. Khanna attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Intel's new semiconductor factory complex in Ohio with President Biden and Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger. Khanna also met with Representative Tim Ryan (D-OH), Senator Rob Portman (R-OH), and Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb. Khanna represents Silicon Valley where Intel is headquartered.
At the ceremony, Khanna was personally recognized by President Biden and Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger for his work on the CHIPS Act to revitalize American semiconductor manufacturing and create new, good paying jobs.
